Structural restoration is essential before planning wells for petroleum exploration, CO₂ storage, and other subsurface projects. It helps eliminate invalid interpretations, reduce uncertainty, and find reliable alternatives. However, most available software is very expensive, resource-intensive, and lacks cross-platform compatibility.

Deform has been self-funded since 2018 to make structural restoration accessible to all geoscientists. Despite its complex scientific foundations, we strive to keep Deform simple and intuitive, allowing users to immediately engage with it and concentrate on what truly matters – the reflection on various geological interpretations.
